    American Cladding Technologies launches

    American Cladding Technologies is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Joining Technologies.

    American Cladding Technologies, previously a division of Joining Technologies, is now a wholly owned subsidiary, with both companies based in East Granby, CT.

    Joining Technologies' laser cladding division has been at the forefront of the fast-growing field of laser metal deposition, and American Cladding Technologies will continue to bring pioneering technological advances to the field.

    The company, which specializes in providing precision laser cladding services to the waste-to-energy power production, aerospace, locomotive, industrial gas turbine, and valve industries, will be fully operational by April 1, 2017, according to president Jeff Whittaker.
