Laser edge deletion modules

April 13, 2017
The MPCT laser edge deletion modules enable laser edge deletion, bus bar exposure, and via drilling operations of CIGS glass substrates.

The MPCT laser edge deletion modules from 4JET Microtech (Alsdorf, Germany) enable laser edge deletion, bus bar exposure, and via drilling operations of copper indium gallium selenide (CIGS) glass substrates. The modules can process 100MW of typical CIGS substrates annually, thereby reducing the number of back-end processing stations when compared to conventional solutions. They also allow reduction of panel edge dead zones, enhancing module efficiencies.
