GF Machining Solutions names new distributor for two upper Midwest regions

July 31, 2017
GF Machining Solutions selected Ellison based on the company's abilities to offer complete market coverage in the states it serves.

Laser machine tools provider GF Machining Solutions (Lincolnshire, IL) has named Ellison Technologies (Fremont, CA) as its new distributor to serve customers in two regions in the upper Midwest.

On July 20, 2017, Ellison Technologies' North Central office (Plymouth, MN) began representing GF Machining Solutions to serve customers in North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, Minnesota, and Western Wisconsin. In addition, Ellison now serves as a distributor for Eastern Wisconsin and Upper Peninsula of Michigan—Ellison's Wisconsin office (Pewaukee, WI) began serving GF Machining Solutions' customers on June 26, 2017.

GF Machining Solutions selected Ellison Technologies based on the company's abilities to provide extensive service and support to customers, as well as to offer more complete market coverage in the states it serves. Customers in the automotive, aerospace, medical, die-mold, and other industries will gain easier access to demonstration centers and larger sales and support teams that can work in conjunction with GF Machining Solutions to provide timely front-line service and application support on equipment.

Ellison will now be able to provide customers in its North Central and Wisconsin regions with GF Machining Solutions' electronic discharge machining (EDM), milling, laser texturing, additive manufacturing, micromachining, and 3R Automation solutions, as well as various machine tool consumables.
