Welser Profile opens sales branch in Chicago
Welser Profile (Ybbsitz, Austria), which manufactures cold roll-formed sections and tubes made from steel, stainless steel, and non-ferrous materials, has opened a sales branch in Chicago, IL, to help support clients in the US and, therefore, expand its presence in the North American market.
To date, the company has produced more than 21,500 cross-sections for most applications, including construction, industrial and environmental technology, and automotive engineering. More than 60 cold rolling machines enable the company to produce sections and tubes, and offer manufacturing processes such as bending, laser cutting, laser welding, and assembly.
With the new sales branch, the company has appointed Bill Johnson as the North American president and CEO. In his role, his primary responsibility will be to work with customers to finalize and elaborate the business plan that will lead to Welser Profile manufacturing operations in North America.
