The Series 300 electronic welding head enables up to three welds per second.

The Series 300 electronic welding head from Amada Miyachi America (Monrovia, CA) enables up to three welds per second, with programmable force and weld positions, good force and position repeatability, and displacement monitoring. The welding head comprises a newly redesigned linear magnetic force actuator and a microprocessor-based electronic control to provide the precisely controlled weld force profile needed for miniature parts welding. A displacement monitoring feature can be used to optimize the weld and isolate potential quality problems.
