Mitsubishi Heavy Industries buys 2 six-axis laser systems

April 12--Prima North America announced the sale of two Laserdyne 790XS - P50L systems to Mitsubishi Heavy Industries for laser processing of turbine engine components

April 12--Prima North America and its agent in Japan, Sumitomo Heavy Industires Ltd. -- Advanced Machinery Co. Ltd., announced the sale of two Laserdyne 790XS - P50L systems to Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Nagoya Guidance & Propulsion Systems Works (MHI) for laser processing of turbine engine components.

The six-axis systems feature the S94P controller, Optical Focus Control, and BreakThrough Detection.
