September 17, 2007--South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford honors 3D Systems' Abe Reichental for his contributions in promoting economic growth in the county and state.
Reichental was named York County's Economic Development Ambassador of the Year by the South Carolina Department of Commerce, an honor awarded to private sector executives who are exceptional contributors to community and state development.
The honor for Reichental comes nearly a year after 3D Systems consolidated its headquarters, operations, and research and development activities into a new global facility in Rock Hill, SC. Since deciding to move, Reichental has assisted York County e conomic development officials in recruitmenet efforts with other companies, including meeting with prospects to share positive information about York County and South Carolina. Reichental also accepted a position as a member of the Rock Hill Development Corp.
