Lumics GmbH, Berlin, Germany, announces pump laser diodes from 4 W up to 40 W, including fast axis collimation directly from the diode on carrier. The diodes can work with any pumping application, including Tm, Er, Nd, and Yb.

Lumics GmbH, Berlin, Germany, presents pump laser diodes from 4 W up to 40 W, including fast axis collimation directly from the diode on carrier. The diodes can work with any pumping application, including Tm, Er, Nd, and Yb.

The diodes are available from 793 nm up to 1064 nm, from which there are several standards, such as 793 nm, 808 nm, 915 nm, 938 nm, 976 nm, and 980 nm. The diodes are selected with a wavelength tolerance of ±3 nm for each absorbing material.

The F-mount is easy to handle, easy to mount, easy to connect electrically and has a tiny footprint, long lifetime and several emitter sizes from a 45 µm single emitter up to a 190 µm double emitter.

For other applications, for example medicine or materials processing, the F-mount is the best choice for a powerful laser in compact design.
