Technifor, Charlotte, NC, will be introducing the new compact and rugged TF420 fiber laser marking unit, providing high contrast 2D Data Matrix codes, logos, barcodes, and human readable text at high speeds.

Considered a universal marking solution, the TF420 is capable of printing on the most difficult materials such as cast aluminum and carbide while maintaining the precision to mark consumer products like cellular telephones and medical devices.

The compact marking head is completely sealed and enclosed in a protective cast aluminum case, allowing the system to be mounted in any orientation and adapting to existing integrations. Designed to utilize few optical components for increased reliability and featuring a longer source life, the air cooled TF420 eliminates maintenance concerns and reduces operating costs.
