LAI International wins third ACE Award

Scottsdale, Ariz. – LAI International Inc., a supplier of precision components and subassemblies for OEMs, won its third consecutive ACE Award for corporate excellence. The company was recognized Sept. 16 as a Top-50 Private Company ranked by revenue at the 16th Annual Arizona Corporate Excellence awards ceremony in Phoenix.

Scottsdale, Ariz. — LAI International Inc., supplier of precision components and subassemblies for original equipment manufacturers, won its third consecutive ACE Award for corporate excellence. The company was recognized Sept. 16 as a Top-50 Private Company ranked by revenue at the 16th Annual Arizona Corporate Excellence awards ceremony in Phoenix.

LAI, ranked as the 42nd-largest private company in Arizona, was the only industrial manufacturing company to win an ACE Award. LAI won two ACE awards – one for top-25 fastest-growing private company and a second for top-50 private company – in both 2008 and 2009.

The largest private companies in Arizona recognized by ACE generate revenues of more than $15 billion per year. They employ more than 40,000 employees in Arizona and more than 56,000 worldwide.

LAI International, Inc. is a leading contract manufacturer of make-complete precision-engineered components and assemblies for aerospace, power generation, defense, medical, and other advanced technology industries. They have developed processes for water jet drilling and cutting, laser cutting and drilling, EDM drilling, CNC EDM, high-speed EDM, conventional CNC machining, five-axis CNC machining, and precision five-axis grinding. The company also provides gage calibration, tooling production, air-flow inspection and additional manufacturing services.
