SCANLAB AG celebrates 20th anniversary

Puchheim, Germany – Founded in 1990 as an alternative to the monopolists of that era, SCANLAB AG has grown from a modest beginning into a leading OEM manufacturer of scan solutions for the deflection and positioning of laser beams in three dimensions. The company has more than 100 employees and annual sales exceeding €35 million.

SCANLAB participates in all major markets, including the semiconductor, auto-making, solar, and medical technology industries. The company serves customers in such diverse application areas as marking, microstructuring, cutting, and welding.

Numerous product names are associated with the company’s growth and technological advances, including the hurrySCAN®, intelliSCAN® and SCANcube® scan head series, and the RTC® line of control boards.

Many of these products involved first-time implementation of novel ideas that became market standards.
