May 8--The U.K. manufacturer of specialist marking systems is to double its U.S. operations in an effort to replicate conditions that produced a 300 percent revenue growth in the U.K. last year.
Electrox, which already has a significant presence in Indianapolis, IN, believes the combination of a ripening U.S. market, new marking systems, and a less travel-inclined customer base will provide the platform for a projected 30 percent year-on-year growth rate.
The first of the staff have already been hired and will be based in New Hampshire. Bases in the South East and West Coast are expected to follow as the company raises the number of U.S. engineers from five to ten.
Electrox's systems are developed in-house for use in product and component marking, flat bed sheet metal cutting, and high-precision welding.
