May 17--An LPKF UV laser processing system has been installed at Fine Line Stencil/A-Laser in Beaverton, OR.

The LPKF MicroLine 600D is a next-generation UV laser capable of addressing a variety of tasks, including cutting of flex circuits, cover layer cutting, and skiving. It is also used for the machining of micro-mechanical parts made of organic materials, such as polyimide and polyester.

Mike Scimeca, president and CEO of FCT Assembly, states, "We chose the LPKF MicroLine 600D because of its superior speed and diversity. This system is giving us the capability to satisfy a broad variety of applications that our customers expect from us."
