April 7--As a result of recent surveys, ILS has noted a significant increase in the number of North American job shops offering laser cutting that operate more than one laser system. In fact, our most recent survey indicates more than one-third of the shops in our database operate more than three systems. This reinforces our belief that successful shops have found they must have the equipment available to provide rapid turnaround with a variety of technologies to address customer demands.
These same shops are also taking advantage of free publicity offered in the annual Industrial Laser Solutions buyers guide to North American job shops. Published in the October issue of ILS and accessible through the ILS website, www.industrial-lasers.com, the buyers guide listings are arranged by state and offer details of shop capabilities and contact information.
