Virtek awarded $1.9 million Canadian contract in China

August 14--A major Chinese subcontract manufacturer has purchased FOBA DP50 inline laser marking systems

August 14--Virtek Vision International announced that it has been awarded a $1.9 million contract to supply FOBA DP50 inline laser marking systems to a large Chinese manufacturer. All systems are expected to be installed during Virtek's third quarter, which ends October 31, 2006.

The FOBA DP50 is a 50W, Nd:YAG diode-pumped laser system designed for integration into manufacturing lines or custom machinery. The compact high-efficiency laser for medium-power applications marks almost all materials. The DP50 systems will be manufactured in the company's FOBA laser marking and engraving facilities in Luedenscheid, Germany.
