Sliver of light VI: Laser Mechanisms relocates headquarters

Record growth leads company to move to larger headquarters and add square footage for manufacturing and warehousing.

Laser Mechanisms Inc. announced the move of its corporate headquarters from Farmington Hills, Michigan to Novi, Michigan. The 22,000 sq./ft. facility houses corporate offices, sales, and engineering. In addition, an adjacent 28,000 sq./ft. building is being completed for manufacturing and warehousing operations. The two facilities together will nearly double Laser Mechanisms' previous square footage.

The relocation is in direct response to sustained sales growth and will enable Laser Mechanisms to more effectively serve its expanding customer base. "We've experienced record growth in recent years and as we near our 30th anniversary, these new facilities will give us the necessary resources to support our customers well into the future," said Mark Taggart, managing director of Laser Mechanisms North America.
