LAI completes agreement for turbine component work

The agreement to produce the components was made with a leading original equipment manufacturer in the power generation industry, and the overall value exceeds $10 million over one year.

LAI International Inc. has signed a multi-million-dollar agreement to continue long-term large-scale production of turbine engine components.

Manufacturing and delivery of the precision-machined partitions are in process at LAI's manufacturing facility in Scarborough, Maine, and will continue through this year. The agreement to produce the components was made with a leading original equipment manufacturer in the power generation industry, and the overall value exceeds $10 million over one year.

LAI uses advanced machining technologies to process in a year more than 30,000 of the land-based steam turbine components used in electric power generating plants across the global energy market.
