Priced less than $20,000, this 2-watt, diode-pumped, Nd:YAG laser marking system is easily integrated into existing operations and is ideal for small-scale production environments. The UM-1 is air-cooled and requires no consumables making it energy efficient and maintenance free. The unit delivers consistent, clean marks on metals, plastics, silicon, graphite, carbide, ceramics, composites, and electronic parts. Applications include high-resolution bar codes, UID, Data Matrix, alphanumerics, batch numbers, 2D symbols, text, logos, and photo quality images.
