The Melar series Nd:Glass MOPA high energy laser system is available from RPMC (O'Fallon, MO) with a maximum output energy from each amplifier chain of 300J with a 10 – 30ns pulse duration. The advanced technologies of the Melar, such as single-longitudinal mode diode pumped Nd:YLF oscillator, apodizing apertures beam homogenization technique, and large energy pumping cavity with ASE restraining technology have greatly contributed to both the energy and beam quality (fill factor >0.8) of these Nd:Glass MOPA lasers. A 1000J compact Nd:Glass disk amplifier and 0.1pps high repetition rate 50J system are currently under development.

In 2005, Beamtech built the first table-top Melar laser system with 100J of output energy at 527nm for CAS (Chinese Academy of Sciences). After 3 years of experimental applications the research group at CAS (Chinese Academy of Science) achieved Peta watts of high peak power and high intensity laser output with a femtosecond Ti:Sapphire laser system.

Applications include nuclear and particle physics and laser peening.

Beamtech also supplies large energy Nd:Glass laser accessories, parts and power deliveries for building your own table top laser systems.
