Industrial laser event moves to Delhi

As a result of a successful Laser India exhibition last December a second event is now scheduled for Delhi.

Delhi/Hannover - Deutsche Messe (www.messe.de) will be staging its Indian industrial trade fairs in Delhi. From 21 to 24 November, five fairs – CeMAT INDIA, MDA INDIA, Surface INDIA, Industrial Automation INDIA and Laser INDIA – will be held concurrently at the India Expo Centre in Greater Noida. The latter, Laser INDIA features exhibitors of industrial laser products used for laser welding,cutting and other material processing applications Additonally, the fairs feature a broad range of exhibits from worldwide suppliers of intralogistics technology, power transmission and control systems, surface treatment systems, industrial automation solutions.

India’s largest automobile manufacturer Maruti Suzuki, produces more than 1.2 million cars each year at its facilities in the South of Delhi. The region has also attracted well-known automotive parts suppliers, such as Knorr Bremse and Goodyear Tyres. Other industries that are well represented in the area include the electronics and pharmaceutical industries, the leather goods industry and the mechanical engineering sector.

Last year, from 6 to 9 December, around 400 companies showcased their products and services at the Bangalore International Exhibition Center. The trade fairs were complemented by a program of conferences which has proved extremely popular with trade visitors. The organizers have expanded the program of conferences and seminars over the years. The new venue in Delhi, which has state-of-the-art conference facilities, allow them to continue on this path.
