LPKF adds staff for plastic welding services
Erlangen, Germany -LPKF continues to expand its laser welding division, with new distribution capacities and two new hires.
"Transmission laser welding has a great deal of potential, which also needs to be backed up by appropriate consulting services," according to the company. So, they have added two new experts to the laser welding business unit:
- Mario Gügel has experience in the assembly of new industrial installations, including industrial laser systems. He will strengthen the international customer acquisition and customer service activities, as well as assisting the LPKF branch office in the US.
- Thomas Eckert's previous customer service experience was in the technical field service team for the customers and distributors in Germany and Europe of a manufacturer of plastic butt-welding equipment. Based in Hamburg, he will assist the German distribution team and provide customer support to clients in northern Europe.
