Technifor, Duluth, GA, has a new gantry-enclosure fiber laser marking system for processing aluminum, stainless steel, and most plastics.
The TFG20 gantry enclosure has a 12 x 24 x 6 in. table with X and Y axis numeric references to simplify large batch marking and part serialization. The compact Class 1 laser enclosure (26 x 40 x 18 in.) can sit on a bench or cart. A large ergonomic access door makes it easy to load and unload parts. A versatile 20 W fiber lasers marks a wide range of materials, from aluminum to stainless steel to most plastics, and it readily accommodates many part sizes and shapes. Technifor's T8000w software is specific for gantry marking; once programmed, the onboard control panel simplifies file selection. Options include a rotary device, focusing lenses, and fume extractor.
