Mainz, Germany - DILAS, a manufacturer of quality high-power, high-brightness semiconductor laser components, modules, and systems, and Special Systems LLC, a distributor of solutions for various photonic markets, have formed a strategic partnership naming Special Systems LLC, St. Petersburg, Russia, as the exclusive distributor for DILAS in Belarus and Ukraine.
“For this region, we see a growing demand for our high-power diode laser components for applications such as DPSSL and fiber pumping, medical, defense, and materials processing,” said Dr. Jorg Neukum, DILAS director of marketing and sales. “With the appointment of Special Systems LLC, our existing customers will profit from a much better service and continuity, and we will have a better access to the growing markets in this region.”
Special Systems LLC, founded in 2007, specializes in the distribution of laser optical and photonic products in the Russian market, the supply of scientific and laboratory equipment for photonic industry, the design of assemblage and modules, production of custom design products, certification testing of products, and participation in photonics research projects.
