Farmington, CT - Industrial laser maker Trumpf has promoted James Rogowski to vice president, technical service, a role in which he is responsible for technical services and training for the company's machine tools installed across the U.S. Rogowski reports directly to Peter Hoecklin, the company's president and CEO. The promotion became effective October 1, 2014.
Rogowski began his career with the company in 1998 as a sheet metal applications engineer. He held various roles in product management before assuming the role of managing director of Trumpf Canada in 2008. In 2011, he returned to Trumpf in Farmington to become director of machine and power tool products. During this time, he gained extensive experience in machine development, new product introduction, and market research.
