Automatic shuttle system

Lüneburg, Germany - Laser cutting systems maker Eurolaser has introduced an automatic shuttle system that enables table changeover within a few seconds, allowing laser cutting to be continued with no downtime. While one table is being processed, finished materials can be unloaded from the other table and reloaded again from an ergonomically favorable position. Changeover starts automatically once the cutting process on the second table is completed. New material can be cut automatically while unloading finished parts without any interruption in the cutting process. The system is said to boost production up to 75 percent, depending on the application.
