Pulse selector for fiber lasers

Nov. 17, 2014
Jenoptik's Pulse Selector IOM enables automatic adjustment of the operating point, which ensures that the modulator's offset voltage is adjusted regularly and guarantees that pulse control is always accurate.

Jena, Germany - Jenoptik's Pulse Selector IOM enables automatic adjustment of the operating point, which ensures that the modulator's offset voltage is adjusted regularly and guarantees that pulse control is always accurate. Manual readjustment is therefore no longer necessary and the modulator can be used in continuous operation while maintaining the same quality standards. An integrated USB port allows control from a PC.

When used with fiber lasers, the pulse selector ensures a steady reduction in the laser pulse repetition rate with high pulse suppression. This is essential for the reliable functioning of oscillator-amplifier systems. Uses include precision material processing in areas such as semiconductor production and medical technology.
