Providence, RI - Laser Research Optics' large CO2 lenses and mirrors for Mitsubishi and Mazak sheet metal laser cutting systems are said to allow companies to reduce consumable costs.

All optimized for 10.6µm, the CO2 focusing lenses are offered in 1/2- to 2 1/2-in.-diameter sizes and focal lengths from 3 to 10 in., in 0.5 in. increments, and in thicknesses from 0.025 to 0.38 in. Silicon turning mirrors are available in 50-60 mm sizes with >99.5% reflectance and with single- or dual-band coatings.
