Laser World of Photonics China 2014 will host 600 exhibitors

Laser World of Photonics China 2014, in Shanghai from March 18 to 20 and expected to occupy 34,500 sq.m, has opened pre-registration.

Shanghai, China - As Asia’s largest trade show for lasers, optics, and photonics, Laser World of Photonics China 2014 will take place at the Shanghai New International Expo Center from March 18-20, 2014. The show is expected to occupy an area of 34,500 sq.m, with about 600 exhibitors from China and other countries across the world. From components to industrial laser applications, Laser World of Photonics China has always taken a leading role in the industry.

Exhibitors like ABB, AVT, Basler, CASTECH, Coherent, Daheng Group, Dalsa, Focuslight, Han's Laser, HGLaser, IPG, JDSU, Jenoptik, Ocean Optics, Penta Chutian, Point Grey, Qioptiq, Raylase, Reis, Renishaw, Rofin, TRUMPF, Vieworks, Zeiss, will all participate in the trade show.

The companies’ offerings include lasers and optoelectronics, optics, manufacturing technology for optics, sensors, test and measurement, services, systems by application sectors, Laser systems for production engineering, Optical metrology and quality assurance, optical information and communication, biophotonics and medical engineering, imaging, illumination and energy, machine vision, security and others.

This trade show is providing a large platform for finding solutions in light. It is dedicated to the development and innovation of all fields in the industry and the communication between researchers and experts from institutions and companies all over the world.

In conjunction with the trade show, there will also be Photonics Congress China, Asia’s leading photonics congress. The congress covers several sectors in lasers and photonics. One of the featured speakers will be David Belforte, Editor-in-Chief of Industrial Laser Solutions, who will present “Opportunities for Industrial Lasers in the Global Market.”

Other topics range from latest research and development in laser procession, laser, optical technology, infrared imaging technology, laser security and laser beam analysis. The combination of scientific, research and industrial applications, both in the conferences and the trade fair, supports the exchange between the scientific and industrial sectors and emphasizes its unique practical value. Last year, Photonics Congress China attracted 1810 attendees.
