The EuroBLECH technology exhibition for sheet metal working, to be held October 21-25 in Hanover, Germany, already has booked 1350 exhibitors from 37 different countries. One of the exhibitors will be Industrial Laser Europe magazine, which will have issues available to visitors at its booth.

For visitors to this show, a comprehensive visitor leaflet is now available in 12 languages at www.euroblech.com. Comprising a hall plan, exhibitor profiles, and useful accommodation and travel information, the leaflet can be ordered online free-of-charge.

Exibitors will present their products and systems for the different technology sectors of sheet metal working in eight exhibition halls, for a net area of 85,000m2, about 10,000m2 more space than the previous event in 2006.

"In particular, the areas of separation technology, flexible sheet metal working technology, joining technology and tool technology have expanded considerably," says Nicola Hamann, exhibition director, on behalf of the organizers, Mack Brooks Exhibitions. "But we can also report a growth in the other technology sectors of EuroBLECH. Overall, this reflects the situation of this industry sector which, after years of prosperity, is still on the upswing."

Of the 1350 exhibitors who have booked a stand so far, some 45% come from outside Germany. Currently the largest exhibitor countries are Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Turkey, Spain, France, Austria, Taiwan, and the US. Visitors to EuroBLECH are also traditionally very international. The previous exhibition in 2006 was attended by more than 64,000 visitors; 36% came from outside Germany, from 73 countries.

Specialists in sheet metal working, such as designers, buyers, production specialists and quality managers, will find the complete sheet metal working technology chain at EuroBLECH 2008: sheet metal, semi-finished and finished products, handling, separation, forming/flexible sheet metal working, joining/welding and surface technologies. Tools, process and quality control systems, CAD/CAM applications plus research and development complete the product range. Exhibitors also include suppliers of sheet metal parts as well as subcontractors.

In the face of global competition, variation in product type, changes in production volumes and cost pressure demand flexible, cost-effective solutions and enhanced product quality. With this year's theme "Quality, Flexibility, Productivity", EuroBLECH 2008 will showcase innovative solutions to rapidly adapt fabrication processes to global market requirements.
