LAI wins two Arizona Corporate Excellence awards

LAI International Inc., a strategic supplier of precision components and sub-assemblies for original equipment manufacturers, has announced it has won two Arizona Corporate Excellence (ACE) Awards.

LAI International Inc., a strategic supplier of precision components and sub-assemblies for original equipment manufacturers, has announced it has won two Arizona Corporate Excellence (ACE) Awards.

LAI won awards for top-25 fastest-growing private company and for top-50 private company ranked by revenue by the Arizona Corporate Excellence Awards. LAI was the only industrial manufacturing company to win either award.

"These awards, which follow being named to the Inc. 5000 list, are an acknowledgement of a winning combination of technical innovation, exceptional customer service and strong revenue growth that has defined LAI," Stewart Cramer, president of LAI, said.

"We will continue to concentrate on achieving operational excellence and aggressively growing revenue in our top market sectors--power generation, aerospace and defense-related industries," Cramer said.

With a compound annual growth rate of 41% in the last two years, LAI is ranked as 11th fastest-growing private company in Arizona.

The ACE Awards measure 2007 revenue using a formula based on revenue growth over a two-year period.
