Laser Mechanisms, Novi, Mich., has put the FiberMini Zero Degree laser processing head, previewed at Fabtech in Atlanta, into full production.

Ultra-compact, FiberMini Zero Degree is a simple, yet flexible, design that allows Laser Mech to optimize the processing head to the end user's fiber laser.

With a power rating up to 2 kW, FiberMini Zero Degree is capable of cutting a wide range of materials and is also offered in various welding configurations.

Available with and without capacitive height sensing, the head also features temperature sensing to protect optics, 10 mm of lens movement to set focus, and quick and easy access to the cover slide. Configurations available for most popular fiber connections.
