Eastlake, Ohio – Midwest Precision, a newly formed entity, has acquired the assets and business operations of Midwest Machining Solutions, formerly known as Midwest Screw Products.

Eastlake, Ohio – Midwest Precision, a newly formed entity, has acquired the assets and business operations of Midwest Machining Solutions, formerly known as Midwest Screw Products.

Located here, Midwest Machining Solutions specializes in precision machining and assembly of close tolerance challenging materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, nickel alloys, titanium, and other engineered materials. The company provides CNC machining, assembly, and program management for the aerospace, defense, power generation, and fluid power markets.

The company's capabilities include CNC turning, milling, EDM, surface grinding, honing, laser marking, assembly, and kitting. Midwest Precision specializes in complex machined components made from challenging materials in prototype volumes to over 10,000-piece lots.

Midwest Precision retained all the employees of the former entity and acquired the facility. The new owners are planning to make significant investments in facilities, equipment, and personnel to further enhance the capabilities of the company, pursue more complex projects, and provide additional value-added services for their customers.

Established in 1953, Midwest Machining Solutions is an ISO 9001 / AS9100 certified manufacturer of precision machined components and assemblies for the aerospace, defense, power generation and engineered industrial markets. The company is well known for its innovative manufacturing engineering and value-added capabilities, including program management.

Former executives of International Motion Control formed Midwest Precision, which applies operational expertise and investment discipline to successfully grow industrial manufacturing companies.
