Sunnyvale, Calif. – Calmar Laser Inc.,  a developer and manufacturer of ultrafast fiber lasers, has opened its new corporate headquarters that provides twice the floor space to enable further expansion in support of the company's anticipated growth and production in 2011.

Sunnyvale, Calif. - Calmar Laser Inc., a developer and manufacturer of ultrafast fiber lasers, announces the opening of its new corporate headquarters at 575 N. Pastoria Ave., Sunnyvale. The telephone number, fax number and email address all remain unchanged. This new facility provides twice the floor space to enable further expansion in support of the company's anticipated growth and production in 2011.

"We are beginning to see the benefits of our strategic initiatives that we launched over two years ago. A shift in market focus and innovative technology developments have positioned us well for continued growth in 2011. The new location will provide us with the additional space required to support further product development and allow us to expand our manufacturing facilities," said Dr. Tony Lin, president and CEO.

The company's four key product families – Cazadero, Coronado, Eureka, and Mendocino – are all manufactured in the Sunnyvale facility. While the Eureka and Coronado lines have been the mainstay of the company's revenue over the past decade, the Cazadero and Mendocino families represent the future. Dr. Larry West, Director of Business Development, added: "Our customers are highly enthusiastic about Calmar's ultrafast fiber laser products. Ultrafast fiber laser technologies enable breakthroughs in medical and microelectronics fields."
