IPG Photonics welcomes Dave Krattley, who will be responsible for selling IPG's line of materials processing fiber lasers.

Oxford, MA - IPG Photonics Corp. has appointed Dave Krattley to IPG's Industrial Sales Team, responsible for selling IPG's complete line of materials processing fiber lasers.

Krattley, an industry veteran with nearly 25 years in the industrial laser industry, has vast experience selling industrial lasers and systems to OEMs, integrators, and end users. Krattley currently serves on Laser Institute of America's Board of Directors and is also a member of the SME Industrial Laser Community.

"I am very excited to see Dave on-board in the Midwest," states Bill Shiner, VP Industrial Markets, of IPG Photonics. "Dave is a seasoned laser professional who is well known and well-liked in the laser industry. Dave is a perfect fit for IPG's team and will complement our materials processing sales efforts."

"I am proud to be joining such a forward thinking organization as IPG," states Krattley, "and believe that our fiber lasers will continue to offer considerable benefits as compared to older laser technologies. Fiber lasers have proven themselves in numerous applications and will continue to grow due to their reliability, high beam quality, high wall-plug efficiency, small footprint and lower total cost of ownership. Fiber lasers have already become the tool of choice for many marking, welding, cutting, drilling and cladding applications and will only increase as more companies become aware of their capabilities."
