Russian public corporation and CJSC to create laser welding center
Yekaterinburg, Sverdlovsk, Russia - At the INNOPROM-2013 International industrial fair here, the fourth largest city in Russia, the State Corporation Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank) and the Regional Sheet Processing Center (CJSC) entered into an agreement to establish a strategic partnership to implement a project on the creation of a Regional Engineering Center in the Sverdlovsk region for laser technologies in mechanical engineering.
On behalf of Vnesheconombank, a public corporation that provides state support for the implementation of capital investment projects, the agreement was signed by Deputy Chairman Anatoly Ballo and on behalf of the CJSC by Director General Anatoly Sukhov.
The Agreement provides for creating an advanced technological center in the Sverdlovsk region to perform research in developing and introducing laser materials processing technologies. The parties agreed to set up a working group to coordinate their cooperation.
The CJSC in Yekaterinburg is a Russian enterprise that helped to form the Ural Laser Innovative Technology Center, opened in October 2008 as part of a Russian-German project to establish regional laser innovation technology centers to study modern laser processing technologies.
