Laser processing system manufacturer Miyachi Unitek is now Miyachi America Corp.

Monrovia, CA - Miyachi America Corp., a manufacturer of equipment and systems for laser welding, laser marking, laser cutting, and other welding equipment, announces that Miyachi Unitek is now Miyachi America Corp. The name change aligns Miyachi Unitek with other Miyachi Corp. companies around the globe. The company will continue to use the Miyachi Unitek brand name, which has considerable brand recognition in the marketplace.

Established in 1972, Miyachi Corp. Japan specializes in the development, design, production, integration and sale of equipment for laser welding, laser marking, and resistance welding. In March 2013, Miyachi Corp. became a consolidated subsidiary of Amada Co. Ltd. Amada develops, manufactures, sells, and services products and systems for sheet metal processing, laser metal cutting, pressing, and machine tooling.
