AMS Technologies introduces the i200 mJ level, 200 W, 10 ps Polaris series laser.

Martinsried, Germany - AMS Technologies has introduced the POLARIS i200, a 1064 nm, 10 ps, 200 W, high repetition rate laser up to 1 MHz, with an M2 < 1.5, and programmable burst mode operation. It has been developed to respond to the increasing demand from the manufacturing industry for high power, high energy picosecond lasers.

In the infrared, the POLARIS i200 is optimized for cost-effective, high quality and high speed production. The high resolution and targeted process is for applications such as: cutting, drilling, micromachining, cleaning, and ablation.
