SmartTechniques are proprietary features on the company's LASERDYNE product line, which help eliminate secondary defects.

SmartTechniques are proprietary features on the company's LASERDYNE product line, which help eliminate secondary defects such as excessive spatter caused by piercing during laser cutting and drilling and the weld depression at the end of the weld. Features include SmartPierce, which minimizes spatter and provides higher-quality pierce point; SmartRamp, which eliminates indentation at the end of laser welds; SmartStop, which reduces backwall damage during drilling; and SmartShield, which provides simultaneous shielding of the laser weld and protection of laser systems optics without mixing of the shield and protection gases.
