PA&E adds laser welder Litron to its corporate structure

Hermetic electronic packaging and interconnect products maker PA&E (Wenatchee, WA) has joined forces with laser welding systems and services supplier Litron (Agawam, MA).

Litron's facilities include a complete laser systems fabrication division, Class 10K clean room environment for sealing in an inert environment, and a full-service electronic package fabrication center with gold plating and feed-through integration services. PA&E's headquarters feature 100,000+ square feet of manufacturing space, including recently expanded machining capabilities, plating facilities, brazing operations, laser welding, and assembly works.

With the partnership, the two companies will provide new levels of products and services to their customer bases in a simple and seamless manner, according to Mark Plasse, Litron's president.
