Linear stepper stage

The LSS-012-12-060-XY-01A-M low-profile linear stepper XY positioning stage integrates an absolute linear encoder.

H2W Technologies (Santa Clarita, CA) has introduced its LSS-012-12-060-XY-01A-M low-profile linear stepper XY positioning stage, which integrates an absolute linear encoder into the single-axis linear stepper motor, allowing the stage to operate as a 2-phase brushless linear motor. The stage uses the company's STS-0620-R linear stepper motors to generate a force of 6.0lbs with a total stroke length of 12.5in (for each axis). The outboard bearing adds system stability, while the moving motors and encoders have high flex power cables guided by a cable carrier.
