Custom laser systems maker PhotoScribe Technologies (New York, NY) has upgraded its space, opting for a new office in Teaneck, NJ. The new facilities offer a variety of amenities, as well as an opportunity for customers to easily commute from both Manhattan and international airports.

The move was necessary because of the company's newly established nanofabrication laboratory, according to David Benderly, PhotoScribe's CEO. The lab includes a class 1000 cleanroom facility as well as an attached hotel, he says.

Recently, the company collaborated with the International Gemological Institute (IGI) to offer its jewelry inscription service out of the Institute's New York laboratory. This allows the company to provde uninterrupted, high-resolution laser engraving services in the Diamond District using its lasers and technicians. By operating solely from IGI's laboratory, the company was able to move its headquarters while ensuring that its local jewelry inscription customers continue to have access to the service and quality to which they are accustomed.
