Merlin Flex invests in new Schmoll laser machine for cutting, drilling

Flex and flex/rigid PCB manufacturer Merlin Flex will enhance their existing laser cutting and drilling capability.

Flex and flex/rigid PCB manufacturer Merlin Flex (Deeside, Flintshire, North Wales) has invested in a Schmoll Laserflex machine to enhance their existing laser cutting and drilling capability. The Laserflex machine provides high accuracy in profiling, ablation, and laser drilling, as well as a vastly increased throughput.

Merlin Flex managing director Mark Merifield explains that the investment demonstrates the company's commitment to its customers and increasing demands in the defense, aerospace, medical, robotics, and telecom industries.

The Schmoll Laser flex machine further strengthens the laser solutions already offered at Merlin Flex, and increases the capability of the whole Merlin PCB Group.
