AdlOptica has introduced its aThermoXX athermalized protective windows for use in high-power laser applications.

AdlOptica (Berlin, Germany) has introduced its aThermoXX athermalized protective windows (cover slides) for use in high-power laser applications like welding or selective laser melting (SLM). Features include minimized thermal focus shift (<0.1 Rayleigh length), residual thermally induced wave aberration (<1/4 wavelength), and laser power density up to 3kW/cm2. A variety of dimensions
and antireflection coatings for widely used laser wavelengths are available.
