Industrial laser market redux

Since publication of the Annual Economic Review in the January/February issue of Industrial Laser Solutions (ILS), Strategies Unlimited—compiler of the data presented—revised some of the revenue numbers to reflect results of the CY2015Q4 reports of several of the leading laser suppliers received after the publication date. End-of-year market changes in leading sectors such as China and Europe and other refined data were presented after the magazine was printed, and Strategies Unlimited is now able to present their revised summary of the 2015 revenues for the industrial laser market.

The following tables show revised 2014-2015 total market revenues and estimated 2016 revenues by laser type and applications categories. Note that the projected total growth in total revenues for 2016 is now 6.5% adjusted from the 4.4% reported in the January/February issue of ILS.
