Louisville, KY - Since 1994, Hafendorfer Machine (HMI) has been providing a variety of services, including laser cutting, machining, and stamping. Whatever the requirements, they have the machinery and capabilities to make it happen, as they operate Trumpf TruLaser 3.2kW and 5kW laser cutters. And as of April 15, 2015, HMI added a new, state-of-the-art Trumpf Trulaser 7000, which allows them to better accommodate one-offs, prototypes, and small batch runs. It also enables innovative design solutions that minimize downstream tasks such as de-burring, welding, and assembly. With over 40 employees and a staff of engineers, they run 24 hours a day, 5 days a week.

The new machine can process tubes with rectangular, round, or oval cross-section shape, pipe, angle, or C-Channel. It is also ideal for cutting thin-walled or large, heavy tubes, as well as those that incorporate complex contours and cutouts. It will also process material up to 30 ft. long. The machine's cutting range is up to 250mm (10 in.) in diameter, with a wall thickness of up to 8mm (0.3 in.).

HMI understands that we live in a "need it yesterday" environment, and also understands the value of intelligent design. The company achieves this through state-of-the-art machines that are both flexible and efficient.
