Highland Heights, OH - Norman Noble has opened a new process development center in Naples, FL, that doubles the company's capacity for manufacturing orthopedic implant and device prototypes. The PDC South facility will have a primary focus on orthopedic screw and plate manufacturing.

The new facility will primarily serve customers located in the Southern United States, and on parts that can be manufactured entirely on a Swiss turning or five-axis vertical milling machine, without also requiring ancillary finishing. The plant will also house laser marking, finishing, and inspection equipment, as well as a programming office.

The company is a laser contract manufacturer with a capacity of over 130 proprietary laser machining systems across three facilities. The Laser Process Development Centers Fully include 15 proprietary laser systems for project specific development activities and prototype manufacturing. Their Production laser departments utilize identical equipment to the Process Development Centers to enable a seamless transition from prototype to full-production requirements for each project.
