MC Machinery Systems to showcase 6kW fiber laser at Fabtech 2015
The eX-F Series fiber laser combines Mitsubishi's eX Series CO2 lasers and a fiber resonator. The 6kW laser features ZOOM Head Technology built into a magnetic head that provides the capability to pierce 1-in.-thick plates. The system delivers simultaneous nozzle cleaning, height sensor calibration, nozzle changing, and gas purge. Additional features include automatic focusing, two-action processing, simple nesting, and program editing.
