Rofin-Sinar appoints industrial laser veteran Bunis to its Board of Directors

Industrial laser maker Rofin-Sinar Technologies has appointed Jenifer Bunis to the company's Board of Directors.

Industrial laser maker Rofin-Sinar Technologies (Hamburg, Germany) has appointed Jenifer Bunis to the company's Board of Directors, effective immediately. With her addition, whose term will expire in 2018, the Board now has eight members.

Bunis spent 20 years at Synrad, a laser technology designer and manufacturer, where she held a variety of positions, including sales and marketing, operations, and business development. For over 14 years, she served as executive VP, overseeing the production, purchasing, and materials management, as well as managing major OEM accounts. During her time there, she led sales teams generating strong growth and winning multiple strategic OEM accounts. Most recently, she served as VP of business development for Laser Mechanisms (Novi, MI), where she was responsible for identifying and developing new strategic partners to increase the company's brand recognition.

Bunis graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Rochester (NY), with a Bachelor of Science in Optics.
