Mate Laser Technologies (Anoka, MN) has introduced a line of 1µm optics for high-power fiber lasers, including lenses, protective windows, and nozzles. Made of fused silica, they feature extremely low absorption, anti-reflective coatings, and high laser damage threshold. The optics have uses in 1µm applications in the 1030–1080nm range with ultra-low absorption (<50ppm at 1.03–1.08µm), a pinpoint focal length tolerance of ±0.5%, and laser damage threshold higher than 10J.
