LIMO makes management changes

Dortmund, Germany - Micro-optics, optical systems, diode lasers, and laser systems maker LIMO has appointed Anton X. Schmölz as a managing director, which became effective January 1, 2015. He succeeds Dr. Lutz Aschke, who left the company December 31, 2014, after serving his contracted term as managing director.

Schmölz, who has been with the company since November 2013 in the CFO role, will now oversee the company's production and finance segments.

Dr. Paul Harten, part of LIMO management since 2002, will continue to head sales, marketing, IT, and project and quality management, and is now also in charge of research and development.
